ALISON GOLDFRAPP & CLAPTONE –

In den vergangenen Jahrzehnten war Alison Goldfrapp eine Hälfte des Synthie-Pop-Duos Goldfrapp.
Nach einigen Auftritten unter ihrem eigenen Namen, zuletzt auf zwei Röyksopp-Songs, hat sie nun ihre erste offizielle Solo-Single ‚Digging Deeper‘ veröffentlicht.
Zwar handelt es sich nach wie vor um eine Kollaboration, diesmal mit keinem Geringeren als Claptone, doch eine Pressemitteilung deutet darauf hin, dass Alison Goldfrapp bereit ist, ihren eigenen Weg zu gehen.
Claptone sagt: „Als Alison mich fragte, ob ich mit ihr zusammenarbeiten wolle, musste ich nicht lange nachdenken.
Ich war schon immer verzaubert von der magischen Welt, die sie erschaffen hat, und von ihrer umwerfenden Stimme, also war ich wirklich glücklich, dass wir unsere Power zusammenbringen konnten.
‚Digging Deeper‘ ist ein einzigartiger und funktionaler House-Track für besondere Momente auf dem Dancefloor.

For the past couple of decades, Alison Goldfrapp has been one half of the synth-pop duo Goldfrapp. After a few appearances under her own name, most recently on two Röyksopp songs, she has now released her first official solo single, ‚Digging Deeper‘.
Although it is still a collaboration, this time with none other than Claptone, a press release suggests that Alison Goldfrapp is ready to go her own way.
Claptone says: „When Alison asked me to collaborate with her, I didn’t have to think twice.
I’ve always been enchanted by the magical world she’s created and her amazing voice, so I was really happy that we could join forces.
Digging Deeper‘ is a unique and functional house track for those special moments on the dancefloor.
