Das britische Duo Overmono kündigt sein Debütalbum an. ‚Good Lies‘ erscheint am 12. Mai bei XL Recordings.
Mit ‚Is U‘ stimmen Overmono ihre Hörer*innen auf das kommende Album ein und versprechen emotionale Tiefe gepaart mit Housemelodien und etwas sanfteren Bässen als gewohnt.
Seit 2016 haben die beiden Brüder elf EPs veröffentlicht. Mit ihrem Breakbeat-Techno spielten sich Overmono durch die Clubs in Berlin, New York und Los Angeles.
Sie arbeiteten mit Joy Orbison und remixten Thom Yorke. Ihr Sound wurde auch von Grand Theft Auto im Radio gespielt.
Die beiden Brüder hinter Overmono sind bekannte Größen in der elektronischen Szene.
Tom Russell alias Truss ist seit 15 Jahren als Produzent aktiv, sein Bruder Ed wurde als Tessela bekannt.

British duo Overmono have announced the release of their debut album. ‚Good Lies‘ will be released on 12 May via XL Recordings.
With ‚Is U‘, Overmono set the mood for their forthcoming album, promising emotional depth paired with house melodies and a softer bass than usual.
Since 2016, the two brothers have released eleven EPs. With their breakbeat techno, Overmono have played their way through the clubs of Berlin, New York and Los Angeles.
They have worked with Joy Orbison and remixed Thom Yorke. Their sound has also been played on the radio by Grand Theft Auto.
The two brothers behind Overmono are well-known figures in the electronic scene.
Tom Russell aka Truss has been producing for 15 years, while his brother Ed is known as Tessela.
