Der venezianische DJ und Produzent Spiller alias Cristiano Spiller war damals der erste DJ auf dem iPod: ‚Groovejet‘ hat Steve Jobs‘ kleines Juwel zu seiner Zeit auf den Weg gebracht und wurde intern bei Apple als Testsong auf dem ersten iPod verwendet. Zum 20 jährigen Jubiläum kam jetzt letzte Woche ein sehr starker Remix heraus.
Der Song kommt von keinem geringerem als dem Leipziger Tino Piontek alias Purple Disco Machine, dem deutschen Shooting Star (u.a. „Hypnotize“ & „Fireworks“).
Zusammen mit Lorenz Rhode, der Teil des Tanzorchesters Ehrenfeld (TV Live Band von Jan Böhmermann) ist, haben sie einen super Remix gezaubert.
Der Track wurde zum ersten Mal beim Defected Croatia Festival sowie in der Defected Radioshow gespielt. Mittlerweile läuft er jetzt auf allen Kanälen und natürlich in den Clubs.

Venetian DJ and producer Spiller, aka Cristiano Spiller, was the first DJ on the iPod back in the day: ‚Groovejet‘ launched Steve Jobs‘ little gem in its day and was used internally at Apple as a test song on the first iPod. Now, to mark the 20th anniversary, a very strong remix was released last week.
The remix comes from none other than Leipzig’s Tino Piontek aka Purple Disco Machine, the German shooting star (e.g. „Hypnotize“ & „Fireworks“). Together with Lorenz Rhode, who is part of the Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld (Jan Böhmermann’s live band), they have conjured up a super remix.
The track was played for the first time at the Defected Croatia Festival and on the Defected radio show. In the meantime, it is now playing on all channels and, of course, in the clubs.
