BLOND:ISH stellt ihr neues 12-Track-Album ‚Never Walk Alone‘ vor, das heute, am 14. Februar, auf Insomniac Records erscheint.
Die Geschichte des Lebens handelt von der Überwindung des Unmöglichen.
Und die Geschichte der Selbstliebe, wie im Track ‚Self Love‘, ist nichts anderes!
Never Walk Alone“ ist das erste Studioalbum seit neun Jahren und wird als spezielle Bio-Vinyl-Edition erhältlich sein. Dies geschieht im Rahmen der Sustainable Raving-Bewegung, die BLOND:ISH mit einer eigenen Stiftung namens ‚Bye Bye Plastic‘ ins Leben gerufen hat.
Eine besondere Aktion rund um das Album: Fans können Fotos mit ihren Liebsten einsenden, die dann für die Pressung zu einem Mosaik zusammengesetzt werden. Daraus entsteht eine limitierte Vinyl-Edition.
Da die Herstellung von Schallplatten normalerweise sehr umweltbelastend ist und fossile Brennstoffe benötigt, legt die Künstlerin Wert auf eine Produktion aus biogenen Abfällen wie altem Speiseöl.
Das spart 90 Prozent Kohlendioxid und ist zu 99,98 Prozent erdölfrei.

And the story of self-love, as in the track ‚Self Love‘, is nothing less!
Never Walk Alone‘ is the band’s first studio album in nine years and will be available as a special organic vinyl edition. This is part of the sustainable rave movement that BLOND:ISH has started with their own foundation called ‚Bye Bye Plastic‘.
A special campaign for the album: fans can send in photos of their loved ones, which will then be assembled into a mosaic for the pressing. The result will be a limited vinyl edition.
As the production of vinyl records is usually very harmful to the environment and requires fossil fuels, the artist emphasises the production of biogenic waste such as used cooking oil.
This saves 90 per cent of carbon dioxide and is 99.98 per cent free of petroleum.
