Er wuchs in einer Familie talentierter Musiker auf und lernte schon früh, verschiedene Instrumente zu spielen.
Im Alter von 14 Jahren entdeckte Mau P (geboren als Maurits Westveen) seine bedingungslose Liebe zur Tanzmusik.
Heute setzt er seine musikalischen Fähigkeiten, sein Talent und seine grenzenlose Kreativität mühelos in seinen Produktionen und DJ-Sets um.
