Seit 15 Jahren ist David Guetta der meistgestreamte französische Künstler auf Spotify, also seit der Gründung des Streamingdienstes.
Man muss sogar noch ein paar Jahre zurückgehen, bis 1979, als Supertramp ihren Song ‚The Logical‘ veröffentlichten, der heute ein Klassiker und die Vorlage für Guettas lang erwartete Zusammenarbeit mit der deutschen Superstar-Sängerin Kim Petras ist.
Nach David Guetta’s jüngsten Smash-Hits „I’m Good“ und „Baby Don’t Hurt Me“ und der Auszeichnung als „Best Electronic Artist“ bei den MTV EMA Awards in dieser Woche legt die DJ/Producer-Ikone damit zum Jahresende eine weitere Hymne vor.
Ausgehend von einer gepitchten Interpolation des Supertramp-Klassikers „The Logical Song“ verbindet David Guetta aktuelle Hyperpop-Einflüsse und klassisches 90er-Jahre-Piano zu seinem unverwechselbaren Sound.
