Nachdem der Brite Joel Corry am vergangenen Freitag sein Debütalbum „Another Friday Night“ ankündigte – „der größte Moment meines Lebens“, so der mehrfach BRIT-nominierte DJ/Produzent – folgt heute der nächste Vorgeschmack auf sein kommendes Werk. „Drinkin‘“ heißt es und ist eine Kollaboration mit dem legendären US-DJ/Producer MK und dem internationalen britischen Popstar Rita Ora.
Vor wenigen Tagen spielten Joel und Rita den Song bereits live bei Joels Residency-Show Ibiza Rocks.
Joel Corry produzierte „Drinkin‘“ zusammen mit MK, einem Künstler, den er als eine seiner größten Inspirationen bezeichnet. Der Song folgt auf seinen letzten UK Top 10 Hit „0800 HEAVEN“ mit Nathan Dawe & Ella Henderson.

Following the release of his debut album ‚Another Friday Night‘ last Friday – „the greatest moment of my life“ according to the multi BRIT nominated DJ/producer – Joel Corry is back with another taste of his forthcoming work.
Called ‚Drinkin‘, it is a collaboration with legendary US DJ/producer MK and international British pop star Rita Ora.
A few days ago, Joel and Rita performed the song live at Joel’s Ibiza Rocks residency show.
Joel Corry produced ‚Drinkin“ with MK, an artist he describes as one of his biggest inspirations. The song follows his recent UK Top 10 hit ‚0800 HEAVEN‘ featuring Nathan Dawe & Ella Henderson.
If when you first hear ‚Drinkin‘ you think „Wait a minute, I know that tune“, you’re not wrong: the song samples Chance The Rapper’s 2016 track ‚All Night‘, which Joel Corry gives the anthemic dance sound you know and love him for with warm, bubbly chords, bright, highly infectious vocals and solid peak time grooves.
