Das Beste vorab: Sofia Kourtesis 10-Track-Debütalbum erscheint am 27. Oktober auf Ninja Tune und enthält neben der im März veröffentlichten Erfolgssingle ‚Madres‘ und natürlich ‚Estación Esperanza‘, auf der Manu Chao zu hören ist, auch den heute veröffentlichten Song ‚Si Te Portas Bonito‘.
‚Si Te Portas Bonito‘ entfaltet sich wie alle Produktionen von Kourtesis strahlend, die Synthies gleiten jedem Beat voraus und bieten ein perfekt getimtes Sprungbrett, um die Fantasie in ihren paradiesischen Sound zu entführen. In der Tat ist „Si Te Portas Bonito“ mit seinem prickelnden Beat und seiner luftigen Atmosphäre pure Glückseligkeit.
Tom Stephens produzierte den Song mit Sofia und David Krasemann gab ihm den letzten Schliff.
Dieses Mal entschied sie sich, ihr Herz und ihre Gefühle wieder zu öffnen, nachdem sie sich jahrelang nur um ihre Familie gekümmert hatte. Sofia setzte ihre Antidepressiva ab, spürte wieder Schmetterlinge im Bauch und begann, sich zu verabreden.

Like all of Kourtesis‘ productions, ‚Si Te Portas Bonito‘ unfolds radiantly, the synths gliding ahead of each beat, providing a perfectly timed springboard to transport the imagination into her paradisiacal sound. Indeed, ‚Si Te Portas Bonito‘ is pure bliss with its tingling beat and breezy atmosphere.
Tom Stephens produced the song with Sofia and David Krasemann added the finishing touches.
This time she decided to open up her heart and feelings again after years of taking care of her family. Sofia stopped taking her antidepressants, felt butterflies in her stomach again and started dating.
