Das Super Duo welches ganze dreizehn Jahre nicht aktiv war, hat jetzt Electroclash mit etwas Melancholie gepaart und mit ihrem ‚Third Album‘ heute ein bittersüßes Comeback gefeiert und damit die Genres wieder neu belebt.
Seit der Ankündigung der Rückkehr von Kittin & Hacker (Kittin hatte ‚Miss‘ auf Eis gelegt) und einem dritten Album, fragte man sich, ob das fantastische Paar sich zwei Jahrzehnte nach seinen Anfängen neu erfinden würde und das Gleichgewicht zwischen Robotik und Menschlichkeit bewahren könne.
Eins ist zumindest sicher, mit dem Titel ‚Purist‘ kehren die beiden zu feinstem Italo Disco zurück. Verspielt und jugendlich, mit jeder Menge Synthie Sounds und einer fetten Baseline.

The super duo which was inactive for a whole thirteen years, has now paired electroclash with some melancholy and made a bittersweet comeback today with their ‚Third Album‘, reviving the genres.
Ever since the announcement of Kittin & Hacker’s return (Kittin had put ‚Miss‘ on hold) and a third album, people wondered if the fantastic pair would be able to reinvent themselves two decades after their beginnings and maintain the balance between robotics and humanity.
One thing is for sure at least, with the title ‚Purist‘ the two return to the finest Italo Disco. Playful and youthful, with lots of synth sounds and a fat baseline.
