YVES V & HUGEL – FINALLY
Der Kandidat für den Sommerhit 2021 ist „Finally“ da – und er kommt von Yves V und HUGEL
Das Jahr ist gerade einmal halb vorüber und Yves V hat bereits genug Highlights erlebt, um damit gleich zwei Jahrbücher zu füllen.
Nachdem er mit “Echo” sein Jahr 2021 einläutete und mit Kollegen wie Steve Aoki, SESA, PollyAnna und weiteren arbeitete, macht er nun nahtlos weiter und veröffentlicht seinen neuen Song “Finally” an der Seite von HUGEL.
Der ist bekanntlich selbst ein Hauptakteur der französischen House-Szene und hat reihenweise Multi-Platin-Auszeichnungen auf dem Konto, für seine Solo-Veröffentlichungen ebenso wie diverse Kollaborationen. Für “Finally” schließen sich Yves V und HUGEL erstmals zusammen und legen einen Track voller Flair und Energie vor. Aufbauend auf der sofort wiedererkennbaren Topline des gleichnamigen Songs von CeCe Peniston, verpassen die beiden Producer dem Old-School-Klassiker aus dem Jahr 1991 einen ordentlichen Booster, der ihn direkt ins Hier und Jetzt katapultiert.
„Blowing my phone up and coming around/ Don’t let me down“, brennt die lyrische Zündschnur, während blubbernde Synthies und flirrende Hi-Hats die hymnischen House-Klänge zu einem radiotauglichen Hit formen. Wenn Yves V & HUGEL da mal nicht einen ganz heißen Aspiranten auf den diesjährigen Sommerhit vorgelegt haben!

The year is only half over and Yves V has already experienced enough highlights to fill two yearbooks. After kicking off his year 2021 with „Echo“ and working with colleagues like Steve Aoki, SESA, PollyAnna and more, he now seamlessly continues and releases his new song „Finally“ alongside HUGEL.
HUGEL is a major player in the French house scene himself and has a string of multi-platinum awards to his name, for his solo releases as well as various collaborations. For „Finally“, Yves V and HUGEL join forces for the first time and present a track full of flair and energy. Building on the instantly recognisable topline of CeCe Peniston’s song of the same name, the two producers give the old-school classic from 1991 a proper boost, catapulting it straight into the here and now.
